Stacy Hits 100 lbs Gone Mark in 8 Months

The hundred pound mark is a huge milestone in any obese person's life. It means, I can do this and that this time it is real. So many of us start diets with the hope that we could lose 100 pounds in less than a year, but know that in our reality it probably will not happen. That does not have to be true as Stacy has proved to herself and anyone who was watching her make this amazing transformation.

I will admit Stacy had an undying determination to get this done. She exercise hard and she kept to her program regardless of how tough life seemed at the time. During her 8 months she lived through personal stress, personal triumph, and even the sadistic humor of the scale gods who wanted to make her beg for the Onederland goal and her 100 pound marker. She persevered. At times because of stress her weight loss slowed. At times it stood still for days on end, but she knew the program she was doing worked and she didn't let a few days without loss get to her..not much anyway.

So now here she sits one hundred pounds thinner than she was last August. Not even a year has passed, and she has achieved things she didn't believe were possible - things most people don't believe could happen for them.

Although with her new workout routine I have teasingly called her She-ra, she is no one special (no offense Stacy). She is just like you. There is nothing about her that made this more possible for her than it can be for you, except that she wanted it more. She wanted it enough to struggle through on days she would have rather cheated. She wanted it enough to get herself up out of bed in the morning to exercise and then again out in the afternoon to get more. She didn't let naysayers get in her way, she didn't let her personal life get in her way, and she didn't let her own disbelief keep her from reaching her goals. You can be just like her.

Anyone who has seen her current exercise schedule could say, oh, I can't exercise like that, but what few know is that when she started her program, she hated the idea of exercise. Just like you. It was the promise, not from me, but from the results she was seeing when she did exercise that motivated her more and more. She took the risk and entered Biggest Loser contests at her gym, winning them both, she put herself out there in life and stated proudly that she was once again the conductor of her own symphony. And the music was beautiful, as beautiful as she is.

I am very proud of Stacy. Not just for the hundred pounds she has lost but for how she has changed her life and how motivated she is to continue to better it. The thought that she once hated exercise is funny since she is pursuing a career as a Fitness Trainer and Holistic Health Practitioner so she can share the value of her healthy diet and her new lifestyle.

I hope you will stop by her public page and leave her congratulatory comments. The photos you see, which will completely blow you away, are from the day she reached the 199 mark, just a few days ago. She has promised to send new 100 lb gone photos for a true public page. As soon as that is up I will let you know.

Her next goal is to reach her goal weight with 160 pounds gone by her one year anniversary. No one at Boot Camp doubts she will make it! Anyone can have Stacy's results. Don't kid yourself and say you do not have that type of determination, willpower, or whatever else you want to call it. If you want a better life. If you want real health and to shed your fat suit, all you have to do is what Stacy did. Set you gaze on the goal, and don't look up until you get there!

New Articles Posted

I received an email via the new Free Consult feature of the www.CarleneJones.com website, that asked for help with a woman's sons who were headed for obesity. I wrote to her, and then decided it was a subject I am quite passionate about so I wrote an article about it. Click here to read Tips to Help Save Your Overweight Child from Obesity. Let me know if it helps you.

New Free Features Added to My Sites

This week I added two new features to my websites.

At CarleneJones.com I added a Free Consult option for members of my mailing list. This has two benefits. One it should increase my mailing list, and two, it will let me gather some important questions obese men and women have in regards to their weight loss so I can create a pertinent Frequently Asked Questions page.

For the purchasers of the Fat Brain Lies workbook, I am setting up live conference calls. The first is next week. This is getting a great response. I'm pretty excited about it and will let you know how it goes. We are going to do it round robin style so every participant gets to ask their own question or discuss a topic from the workbook that is important to them.

Smasty Hits 50 lbs Gone

Over at my other site www.RawFoodBootCamp.com, one of my clients, Smasty hit her 50 lb gone mark today. We are all very proud of her.

Free Forum for the Obese

Yesterday I opened a free forum for obese men and women over at ObeseMe. If you go to the main website you will see a Community Forum link to take you there. I hope that it becomes a hub for the obese as they work through their obesity on diets of their choice. There is also a section for those who are doing the Fat Brain Lies workbook to get together and discuss how they are doing and what they are learning.

Fat Brain Lies Comes Out in Hard Copy

Phew, that was work!

Enough people requested hard copies of Fat Brain Lies, that I went ahead, reformatted for 8.5X11, printed and coil bound what I hope is enough copies for this first run. I chose this nice 70# paper so there would be no bleed through, but it made the book heavy. At 118 pages, it weighs 15oz! Check it out at www.obeseme.com/FatBrainLies.php

I am using the workbook with two of my clients as we figure out an eating plan they can live with for the rest of their lives for both weight loss and maintenance. The three of us really like the e-workbooks. I have set it up so they can email me their books twice a week before our call date. Between the workbook and the journals they are keeping on FitDay, we are getting a lot done fast.

First New Clients are Old Raw Food Boot Camp Members

I am very excited about my first two clients who signed up for my new non-raw program to beat obesity. Both have been in and out of Raw Food Boot Camp a few times. They loved the accountability, but they just couldn't do 100% raw long term. Really, they just couldn't do any weight loss diet long-term. And who blames them? Most of the women I deal with have been on one diet or another their whole lives and have no idea how to eat outside of the diet/binge cycle. Binge isn't really the right word, it is more just uncontrollable eating in an attempt to have that one last meal before going back on a fast weight loss diet, but as we all know that one last meal can last for months! This time we are approaching the diet differently. We are actually working backwards and finding a maintenance plan that will work for them. The plan is to find a diet they can live on for the rest of their lives and then work from there to create a weight loss diet based on how fast they want to lose the weight and how much exercise they are willing to do. We are now working through the Fat Brains Lies workbook and seeing where they really are with their eating and exercise. At the end of our four weeks of discovering what works and what doesn't, we are going to design a diet that they can use for both weight loss and maintenance. The three of us are very excited about this new approach. Their feedback has been more than positive as for the first time in their lives they are shedding the fear/guilt of eating and looking forward to a life of healthy choices.
